About Sophia Clark
My name is Sophia Clark, and I am a senior at Roger Williams University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies with a minor in Spanish. I am passionate about conservation and protecting the environment. While interning at Aquidneck Island Land Trust, a non-profit organization working to preserve Aquidneck Island’s open spaces for the lasting benefit of the community, I was able to cultivate my skills through practical experience, as the Development Intern. In this role, I advanced my skills in fundraising, event coordination and donor communication. Additionally, my three years as a Peer Mentor at RWU have equipped me with strong communication and leadership skills, as I serve as a primary resource for incoming freshmen. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, I now live in Rhode Island, where I enjoy exploring the community through its beaches, restaurants, and scenic walks.
